Terrierific was conceived and founded by ElizaBeth Cronk in 1988 based on what she saw to be an unmet need. Beth had just acquired her first Wire Fox Terrier, Kipper, and couldn’t find a grooming salon in Manhattan with expertise in hand-stripping terriers. Already an accomplished all-breed groomer, Beth started Terrierific because she saw a large, untapped market for a specialist in hand-stripping terriers. Beth’s large and loyal client base in Manhattan, Connecticut and New Jersey, and now, South Carolina attest to this.

Beth has learned from and worked with some of the top terrier specialists in the country, including the late Richard Chashoudian, international breeder of Wire Fox Terriers, AKC Judge, and master of the art of hand-stripping. She has assisted at major events on the dog show circuit, including the Westminster Kennel Club Show and the Montgomery Terrier Show.
